AI Technical/Integration Specialist
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the primary technical liaison between development teams and the AI implementation team, facilitating knowledge transfer sessions and gathering technical requirements for accurate AI‑generated system documentation
Design and implement secure connectivity between clients' mainframe systems and the IBM watsonx platform
Configure safe and non‑disruptive data‑extraction protocols for legacy source code repositories
Collaborate with development teams to analyze and understand legacy system architecture
Identify and document system dependencies, integration points, and data‑transformation logic
Work closely with WatsonX Engineers to fine‑tune AI models using system‑specific technical insights
Assist WatsonX Engineers by mapping and documenting interdependencies across more than 40 integrated systems
Partner with Business Owners to understand system functions, constraints, and business goals
Here is what you need:
Strong understanding of system integration, software architecture, and microservices
Proficiency in Python, Java, and/or other programming languages
Experience with Git/GitHub or other code‑management tools
Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and natural language processing
Experience creating system architecture documentation and diagrams
Collaborative, cross‑functional communication skills
Full‑stack software engineering and AI engineering background
Over 6 years of experience building automation‑first systems across cloud infrastructure and AI‑powered enterprise platforms
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
Preferred experience:
Experience working with large, complex enterprise ecosystems with many integrated applications
Familiarity with legacy systems, mainframe environments, or enterprise data extraction
Experience supporting AI model configuration for system understanding
Prior work with IBM WatsonX or similar AI documentation/knowledge‑engineering tools

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. $86,400 - $176,200 USD
