Business Analyst in Private Banking Transformation Project (Zurich-based Engagement)
As part of our Technology Consulting, we are looking for experienced professionals to join a dedicated transformation project for a leading private bank in Zurich. This is a unique opportunity to participate in a large-scale program involving core banking replacement, process redesign, and integration of modern digital banking capabilities.
Your responsibilities may include:
Leading or supporting business and system analysis across front, middle, and back-office processes
Facilitating workshops with client stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
Documenting business processes, functional specifications, and system requirements
Defining integration interfaces and contributing to the design and testing of API and file-based integrations
Planning and executing data migration activities, including mapping, cleansing, enrichment, and reconciliation
Participating in system configuration, UAT/SIT cycles, and cutover/dress rehearsal planning
Collaborating with stakeholders across business and IT to ensure alignment and quality of deliverables
Our requirements:
Experience in financial services IT projects, ideally in Private Banking
Minimum 2 years – Junior BA
Minimum 5 years – Senior BA
Strong analytical and documentation skills, including UML, BPMN, and writing functional/technical specs
Understanding of integration architecture (APIs, messaging, file-based), especially in banking ecosystems
Fluency in English (German is a plus)
Willingness to travel to Zurich Mon–Fri for on-site project work
Academic degree in IT, Finance, or a related field
We also appreciate:
Deep knowledge of private banking operations such as onboarding, portfolio management, order execution, compliance
Hands-on experience with Temenos Core Banking or comparable systems (Guidewire, Avaloq, SAP, etc.)
Familiarity with FI-Master / securities reference data, pricing feeds, and instrument classification
Experience working with Portfolio Analysis tools, OMS, CRM, tax reporting and related satellite systems
