Position Overview
As a Mainframe CICS & MQ Admin you will make an impact by performing problem analysis and resolution implement. You will be a valued member of the team and work closely with the Retail team.
In This Role, You Will
CICS Administrator
Excellent skills on CICS administration which include CICS and its product administration
Experience in CICS version upgrades/migration
Applying patches to CICS software, Hostbridge
CICS ISVs upgrades and maintenance
Resource definition Online and batch mode
CICS region build
Knowledge on CICSPlex concepts (mandatory)
Configuration of CICS initialization parameters
Troubleshooting and resolving system related abends and issues
Identifying patches that need to be installed, and having them installed
Security administration for CICS
Performance monitoring and tuning
CICS intercommunication setup and maintenance
24*7 support
Assist in application team on CICS specific issues
MQ on z/OS Administrator
Expericne in MQ product upgrades and maintenance
Defining and Monitoring MQ objects
MQ region build
Knowledge on MQ sharing concepts (mandatory)
Operating with CICS adapter control functions to initiate and manage connections between WebSphere MQ and CICS
Managing Websphere MQ resources(BSDS, Pagesets, buffer pools, logs)

What You Need To Have To Be Considered
Minimum 10+ years of experience in CICS/MQ on zOS administration

Salary And Other Compensation
Annual Salary: $73,350 to $116,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
