Your Role And Responsibilities

As the SAP S/4HANA OTC Lead, you will serve as a client-facing delivery leader and functional expert responsible for designing and implementing Order-to-Cash solutions within large-scale SAP S/4HANA programs. You will act as a trusted advisor to clients—translating complex business requirements into scalable solutions—and lead cross-functional teams through all project phases, from design to post-go-live support.

This role requires deep both deep business process knowledge and functional expertise in SAP SD / Order-to-Cash. You will need a solid understanding of end-to-end integration with Finance, Supply Chain, and Logistics, and the ability to lead client workshops, design sessions, and technical teams to deliver business value.

Delivery Leadership

Lead the OTC workstream within SAP S/4HANA implementation projects, ensuring alignment with the overall program strategy, scope, and timeline.

Serve as the primary client point of contact for OTC-related topics—managing expectations, facilitating workshops, and driving design decisions.

Oversee delivery in accordance with SAP Activate / IBM Ascend or equivalent methodology, ensuring all work products, design documents, and testing deliverables meet quality standards.

Collaborate closely with functional leads across MM, EWM, FI/CO, GTS, and Supply Chain Planning to ensure seamless end-to-end process integration.

Solution Design & Configuration

Design and configure SAP S/4HANA OTC processes including Sales Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Rebates, ATP/aATP, Credit Management, and Returns.

Define functional specifications for interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and reports (RICEFW) related to OTC.

Ensure the correct integration of OTC with external systems such as Salesforce, 3PLs, EDI, or custom order management platforms.

Leverage best practices and preconfigured content to accelerate delivery while maintaining scalability and compliance with client requirements.

Team & Stakeholder Management

Guide and mentor junior consultants and offshore delivery teams, ensuring consistency and quality in configuration and documentation.

Work collaboratively with technical architects and data migration teams to validate integration touchpoints and ensure data accuracy.

Engage with client business process owners to identify continuous improvement opportunities and drive adoption of S/4HANA capabilities.

Documentation & Governance

Maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, configuration guides, RACI charts, and training materials.

Contribute to project governance by reporting progress, issues, and risks to the PMO and Steering Committee.

Support proposal development and pre-sales activities by contributing to solutioning, effort estimation, and client presentations when required.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP SD / OTC implementations, including at least two full-cycle S/4HANA implementation.

Strong understanding of end-to-end OTC processes, including pricing, billing, credit management, and logistics integration.

Experience with cross-functional integration (MM, EWM, FI/CO, PP) and external systems (Salesforce, 3PL, etc.).

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable designs.
